HDH auctioneers brought down the house at last week's exhilarating Auction of Finest & Rarest Wines, bringing in a total $8,476,624.70 from over 2,300 lots auctioned over the course of two days with a 100% sell-through rate! This prestigious sale included collections from several long-time consignors and many of our favorite cellars. Highlights included an immaculate case of 1990 Château Pétrus in original wood that sold for $71,700. Five bottles of Jean-Louis Chave's "Cuvée Cathelin" brought in over $45,000. Our top lot of the sale, a trio of 1991 Clos de Bèze magnums from Rousseau, sold at $89,625.
