Hart Davis Hart continues to dominate in the strong U.S. market, the world’s largest and most important wine auction market. Bidders participated from all over the globe in HDH's Auction of Finest & Rarest Wines this past Thursday and Friday, May 5 and 6. All 1944 lots sold at impressive prices, achieving an overall aggregate of $12,421,045 against pre-sale estimates of $8,415,139 - $12,600,064. Estimates have risen significantly in the last 6-8 months, and hammer prices have followed. For example, 6-bottle OWCs of 2005 La Tâche which closed for $50,190 in September 2021, have seen a remarkable increase of 30%, selling at $59,750-65,725 last week.
